Directness
We tell you what we think, including when the answer is uncomfortable. You're paying for judgement, not agreement.
About us
Clearspan Collective is a small team of senior operators who work directly with founders and leadership teams to get things done.
In architecture, a clearspan structure is one with no internal columns — nothing in the way between the load and the ground. The whole point is unobstructed space: room to work, room to move, nothing blocking the path from problem to solution.
That's the operating principle. We don't add layers, we remove them. No account managers between you and the person doing the work. No process for its own sake. Just clear accountability and a direct line from brief to outcome.
No internal columns.
Nothing in the way.
We tell you what we think, including when the answer is uncomfortable. You're paying for judgement, not agreement.
One person owns each engagement. You always know who to call and who is responsible for what.
The work is done properly. Not just delivered — thought through, structured, and built to last beyond the engagement.
We take on work we're genuinely suited to. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so and point you somewhere better.
Typically founders and senior leaders at startups and growing businesses — people who are good at what they do but stretched thin, or who have a specific project that needs dedicated ownership. UK-wide and remote-first, with on-site wherever the work requires it.
The team
Over twenty years across architecture, project management, events and communications — a combination that turns out to be unusually useful.
The architectural training is the thread running through it. Architects are taught to hold a whole system in view while resolving the detail in front of them, to coordinate specialists who don't naturally speak to each other, and to work to a completion date that genuinely cannot move. Those habits transfer directly to a product launch, a conference or a marketing programme.
She has also taught architectural practice at Tulane University in New Orleans. Practice, as distinct from design, is the subject that covers how buildings actually get delivered — clients, contracts, budgets, and the distance between a drawing and a finished thing. Teaching it well means making a complicated process legible to people encountering it for the first time, which is close to the whole job in client work.
It also means the work arrives properly considered. A deck is designed, not assembled. An event has a sightline and a sense of flow. A project plan is structured to hold weight.
Clearspan Collective brings in trusted specialists as each brief demands. Jenny stays constant across the work.
A short call is usually enough to work out whether we're the right fit. No pitch, no obligation.
